この作品は、今日相対化された、“ここ”という概念の曖昧さを扱っています。
“ここ”は何処にあるのか？
それは何を意味するのか？“そこ”という概念とどのような関係があるのか？
物理的な存在によって定義される場所なのか?
それとも何か別のもの、例えば想像力によって作り出されるものなのか？
“そこ”へ逃れようとする人にとっての “ここ”とは何なのか？
それぞれにとっての “ここ”とは、何処なのでしょう？

1983年 ポーランド生まれ
2003年~2009年 ポズナン芸術アカデミーにて絵画、ドローイングを学び、ファインアートの修士号を取得
2016年 ポズナン芸術大学にてファインアートの博士号を取得
現在 ポズナン芸術大学 助教授
When Here Is Elsewhere

The work deals with the ambiguity of the notion HERE, which became relative today.
Where is “here”?
What does it mean?
How is it related to the notion of “there”?
Is it a place defined by physical presence or something else, for example created by imagination?
What is “here” for someone who is escaping to “there”? Where is his/her “here”?

Natalia Brandt, born 1983 in Wągrowiec, Poland.
2003-2009 studied painting and drawing at the Academy of Fine Arts, Poznań, MA in Fine Art (Drawing and Painting).
2016 PhD in Fine Art, University of the Arts, Poznań.
Presently Assistant Professor (5th Drawing Studio), University of Arts, Poznań.
Lives and works in Poznań, Poland.
